Students work together with the instructor to design and implement improvements to the Weenix operating system -- the OS used for student projects in CSCI 1670 and 1690. Topics include support for 64-bit architectures, kernel preemption, multi-core processors, as well as packaging the system for pedagogical use in 1670 and 1690.
Prerequisite: CSCI 1690.
