Undergraduate CS Research Symposium

The Research Symposium will be postponed Spring 2020 due to remote learning.

The 2020 Brown CS Undergraduate Research Symposium is an exciting opportunity for undergraduate researchers to present their computer science research to the department! All undergraduate CS researchers are encouraged to participate so they get a chance to not only show their work to the department but also to win recognition by the faculty and our sponsor companies. You are welcome to submit research done under a faculty member or independently.

  1. To be determined!

There will be a prize for first place, second place, and third place picked by the judges, and a people's choice award from a crowd vote. In addition, selected participants can get opportunities with sponsor companies and further recognition within the department.

The Symposium is on May 5th, 2020 from 4pm-6pm in the 3rd floor atrium.

If your abstract is accepted, please prepare a poster or a demo of your research. If you choose to do a poster, we will provide foam boards that are 30" by 40" and easels.  Please email us if you need networking or power for a demo.

Everyone is invited to attend the symposium to find out about the exciting research being carried out by undergraduates at Brown.

Food will be provided!
