2D Game Engines

2D Game Engines covers core techniques used in the development 2D game engines. Projects involve building different varieties of 2D game engines as well as games that require use of the features implemented in the engines. Topics include high-level engine design, vector and raster graphics, animation, collision detection, physics, content management, and game AI. Prerequisite: CSCI 0160, CSCI 0180, CSCI 0190, or CSCI 0200.
