Students in CSCI 1360 Human Factors in Cybersecurity, as well as students in CSCI 1800 Cybersecurity and International Relations, have the opportunity to enter the CODE Lab Writing Competition via a specific assignment in each course. The winners of the CODE Lab Writing Competition will be awarded the CODE Lab Writing Award and have their names listed on this page.

Similarly, students in CSCI 2999A Cybersecurity Management Within Business, Government, and Non-Profit Organizations, have the option to enter the CODE Lab Advocacy Competition by selecting to participate in the "live" version of the course Board of Directors Simulation. The winners of the CODE Lab Advocacy Competition will be awarded the CODE Lab Advocacy Award and have their names listed on this page.

The CODE Lab student awards may not be bestowed at every opportunity; they will only be conferred when the relevant assignment meets the award criteria. Generally, only one award winner will be selected in each course per semester, but a second winner may be selected from time to time.
