We are rapidly moving into a world where most of our activities are mediated by technology, and now AI. Governance is the way in which we set out "rules of the road" for integrating these tools into our lives and work. It can be in the form of legislation, regulation, market (re)structuring, technical infrastructure, standards and practices, or even norms. But how do we do that? What are the choices, costs, and opportunities involved? Who's affected, and who gets to decide? And above all, how do we this at the pace at which technology appears to be evolving? In this seminar, we will explore all these issues and more in a discussion-style format.
