Introduction to Robotics

Fall 2026

Each student will learn to program a small quad-rotor helicopter. Robots will be provided and shared among students for use during the course. The course will cover sensors and actuators, PID controllers for stable flight, localization with a camera, mapping, and autonomous planning. At the end of the course, students will understand the basic concepts of mobile robots and aerial vehicles.
