Logo Books

Students worked for approximately one week learning Microsoft Windows Logo, a program designed to teach the foundations of programming. MS Logo centers a graphics based approach using a small triangle shaped pen called the turtle on a large canvas. Using basic commands, such as "Forward 50," to control the movement of the turtle, students generated complicated images such as flowers and stars. Although as coordinators we asked them to simply draw a star or a flower, as a tribute to the creativity of our students, they were all able to create a beautiful variety of flowers and stars. Please take a look at some samples and enjoy.
