Getting to Providence by Air

Our closest airport is T. F. Green Airport (code PVD). This is technically located in Warwick, RI, so don't be surprised to see that name on your booking.

There are several ways to get from T. F. Green Airport to the city of Providence. You can take a cab (about $35), use the Peter Pan bus (the airport is listed under "TF GREEN AIRP, RI"), or employ the airport shuttle (look on the Schedule page for the shuttle schedule). The difference is that the bus drops you off downtown, whereas the shuttle will get you to the campus area. If you need help choosing between the two, ask Shriram.

You will probably find many more flights, and perhaps cheaper airfares, to Boston (code BOS). If you're flying into the Boston airport, Logan, consider using the bus from Logan to Providence (Logan airport is listed as "BOST LOGAN AIR, MA"). Or else, you can take the Silver Line from Logan Airport to Boston South Station, and ride the train.
