Providence is serviced well by Greyhound and Peter Pan bus.

If you're coming along the east coast, you can use the train. Providence is a stop on all Amtrak trains, including the Acela Express. We are also on the Boston commuter rail.

If you take the train or bus, you will end up in downtown Providence (the bus and train stops are a few blocks apart). [Note: There is another bus terminus about two miles north of downtown. Buses that go there usually also go to downtown.] The department has directions on getting here from the train station and bus station.
