Scan Conversion
Scan Conversion is the process of converting the projected polygons into pixel values.
Images are drawn on the monitor in horizontal lines, each a row of individual pixels, called raster lines. The entire set is the raster.
The section of a polygon within a given raster line is called a span.
Note: the "jaggies," due to discrete sampling of continuous data.
