Past
- At Brown I was a SPOC.
- I TAed the now-defunct CS34. You can admire my web design skills by visiting said course's site.
- In my senior year I competed in the Netflix Prize and researched a new collaborative filtering algorithm called Gradient Boosting Matrix Factorization [pdf|slides].
- I used to do a lot of sound design and recording, and wrote some related software like PScope and MacABX. The coolest feedback I've ever gotten about my software was that PScope was used to record albums for the Kronos Quartet.
