PoLITics was born out of a student project. We are two teenage girls who were fortunate enough to participate in the Artemis Project at Brown University, 2016. This opportunity has allowed us to learn the basics of several programming languages, including Python, HTML and CSS. After just a few weeks of guidance, we were able to create our own application and website from scratch. We are proud that we can now say that we are girls who code.
Our names are Rachel and Aliyat, and for our final project we tried to address an issue that we are both passionate about: How teenagers today seem to lack interest in politics. Check out our Our Product: PoLITics and The Purpose pages to learn more about our product and this important issue.
