About the Course

Continues work begun in CSCI 1250 with deeper exploration of technical and artistic aspects of 3D computer animation including more sophisticated shading and lighting methods and character modeling, rigging, animation, and simulation. After a series of individual exercises, students pursue an topic of personal interest and then, working alone or in pairs, create a polished demonstration. Emphasis is on in-class critique of ongoing work. Prerequisite: CSCI 1250. Enrollment limited to 20. Written permission required.
