    <strong>Want to Learn:</strong> Software design techniques for large systems.  Learn about best practices to follow and pitfalls to avoid when designing large software systems
  </p>
  <p><strong>Other Goals:</strong> Gaining practical experience using modern group-oriented software development packages (versioning, modeling, scheduling, development environments); coordinating with others effectively.</p>
  <p>
    <strong>Role and Skills:</strong> Coding, debugging, unit testing; the experience of working as part of a large software team.
  </p>
  <p>
    <strong>Relevant CS Classes:</strong> CS167, CS168, CS176 at Brown; the undergrad CS curriculum at WPI.
  </p>
  <p>
    <strong>Other Experience:</strong> 2 years experience as a Software Engineer at Raytheon, mostly in C++.  Perhaps I'll be able to contribute a bit of "real world" perspective.
