From this page, you can find out about the course, view the current course syllabus and assignments, and download software that our students have created for classrooms in the past few years.

For the Spring 2005 semester we have received proposals from a variety of teachers, classrooms and schools in Providence, including:

Vartan Gregorian Fox Point Elementary School
The Lincoln School
Del Sesto Middle School
The Health, Science and Technology Academy
The Metropolitan Regional Career and Technical Center (The Met)
Brown University
The Brown University Medical School
The Providence Women and Infants Hospital &
The International Virtual Medical School

You can see the course materials, project pages and programs from the last few years as well, by following the links from the Spring 2004, Spring 2003, Spring 2001, Spring 2000, Spring 1999, and Spring 1998 course pages. Most of the programs created in CS92 over the past several years are also available for downloading from a CS92 Software Page, sorted by grade level.

There are no prerequisites for CS92/ED89. Programming experience of some kind will be helpful but is not a prerequisite for enrollment. If you have any questions about CS92, don't hesitate to send mail to Roger Blumberg at cs92@brown.edu.
