I am a PhD candidate in Computer Science at Brown University. My research focuses on building interactive data analytics tools, quantifying uncertainty in data exploration and data cleaning. I work under the guidance of professor Tim Kraska, and I am also very fortunate to be part of Brown data management research group.
I graduated from Cornell University with B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering and M.Eng. in Computer Science. During the M.Eng. program, I was supervised by professor Bernard Wong (a senior PhD student back then) and professor Emin Gun Sirer. Before coming to Brown, I worked at various positions in the Korean IT industry and academic research (with Professor Jee-Hyong Lee).
