Course description
Analysis of discrete and continuous signals in both time and frequency domains. Topics include discrete and continuous time signals, linear time invariant (LTI) systems, convolutions, Fourier transforms, sampling, filtering, modulation, Laplace transform and multi-dimensional signals. We will consider applications drawn from filtering, audio processing, image processing and automatic control.

Textbook
Signals and Systems (2nd Edition) by Oppenheim and Willsky.

Grading
40% Homework/Labs
30% Midterm Tests
30% Final Exam

The first midterm will be Wednesday October 15.
The second midterm will be Friday November 14.
