I am a third year PhD student advised by Rodrigo Fonseca. My main research interests are focused around networked systems, the interactions between different components, and how these interactions impact the systems behaviors.
I have worked for 7 years as a system engineer of a complex wide area network, during which I became familiar with many network technologies in all network layers (e.g. TCP, IP, Ethernet, MPLS, SDH, OTN, WDM). This experience of dealing with complicated network problems led me to pursue research interests related to networked systems.
During the summer of 2018 I interned at Flowmill (a company providing communication monitoring services), where I worked on modifying a time series database Prometheus which was designed as a purely single node database into a scalable multinode distributed database.
