This talk will go thorough the development of social gaming. The talk will talk through Facebook and social gaming. Lessons and differences in social mechanics, engagement mechanics, and mobile. Furthermore, the talk will go through the interplay of user interface, genre, and how metrics and modeling can expose much of the interactions of users in an application and on a platform.
Currently, Sizhao is working on LaunchHub, a mobile SaaS platform. Previously, he co-founded BetterWorks, a reward and recognition system for employers. Before BetterWorks, he co-created Farmville, and was the CEO/co-founder of MyMiniLife, Inc. (sold to Zynga Game Networks, Inc.). MyMiniLife is now the common technology platform at Zynga. He is also an investor/advisor of SV Angel, AngelList, and UCSF.
