Bring pens, pencils, and any other writing implements you need. Some teachers have suggested that it would be helpful to bring pens that mark in different colors, and automatic liquid paper.

If you bring a machine, be sure to install Racket v5.1.1 (formerly known as DrScheme).

You may wish to bring a long-sleeved shirt or sweater — not for outdoors, but for indoors. Some of the classrooms and labs can get pretty cold with the air-conditioning.

Please bring USB memory sticks if you want to take home a copy of your work.

An umbrella won't hurt.

We will post additional information about what you need to bring for staying in the dorms.

If you have a copy of our text (blue cover, published by MIT Press), feel free to bring it along. (If you don't have a copy, don't worry—we'll give you one for free.)
