Once Upon a Time
On her 28th birthday, the son who Emma Swan gave up for adoption 10 years ago shows up on her doorstep with a fantastical tale. He claims that all the members of his hometown in Storybrooke, Maine are fairy tale characters whose memories have been erased. The evil queen, furious over Snow White's happiness, casts a curse that erased all the characters' memories and sent them to a land without magic-our world. The daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming,is destined to break the Evil Queen's curse when she turns 28. And, of course, Henry is convinced that Emma is that daughter... At first afraid that that her son is crazy, she offers to give him a ride back to Storybrooke. However, Emma soon finds out that the small town has a big story.
Emma is the main character of the series. She is Snow White and Prince Charming's daughter. Destined to restore the characters' happiness, she must rise up to the challenge and live up to the unknown expectations.
Henry is Emma's birth son and Regina's adoptive son. Once he finds a stroybook explaining the curse, he tracks down Emma and brings her to Stroybrooke.
Snow White is Emma's mother, and Prince Charming's wife. When the curse was cast, she was seperated from him, living a lonley life as a teacher. She is virtually uncoruptable and kind-hearted.
Prince Charming is a brave and noble prince, but when the curse strikes, he becomes a John Doe comma patient.
Rumplestiltskin is a sorceror who is obsessed with making deals. Seemingly without motivation, he actually has a much larger role in the story's events than one might think...
The Evil Queen, who has more of a story than being evil because she feels like it, cast the curse that started the whole story. In Storybrooke, she is the mayor.
