The Dancer In Me







I am a Dancer. I Like to Dance. I take dance classes. Want to know more about Me, as a Dancer? Then the place to be is HERE! Okay, So, I dance for To The Pointe, in Cranston, RI. I danced for Five Years when I was younger. Then I quit for two years, and I decided to start dancing again after i saw the mivie, CENTER STAGE. (That is a GREAT movie! a lot of people think that it's cornie..... it kind of is... but every dancer I know, LOVES that movie! We all want to dance like that, and I can't wait to take pointe when I'm old enough....)


When I was younger, I danced for two hours a week; Ballet, Jazz, and Tap. Last year, I danced for two hours on Saturdays. This year, I danced for four hours a week. I took ballet, jazz, lyrical, & tap classes. I plan on taking those classes again next year. I had a lot of fun at dance this year.... the recital was a BLAST! I was in both of the two shows that the studio had. Funny Story: on the day of the recital, I had to be at the theatre it was held at for 5 o'clock, the recital started at 6. I got to the theatre at 5:58. I literally had 5 minutes to get in costume: no one noticed that I was THAT late. They knew I'd come... & late!
