Traveling has always been something I love to do, far or near and I have had many
wonderful experiences and fond memories. So, down below are my written experiences and thoughts
of some of my favorite places I have traveled to.
Italy
Italy has been by far my favorite place I have been to. When my family
and I went, it was August. Which is one of the hottest times of the year, and Italy being a
Meditteranean country it was even more hot. But even though it was hot out, the trip was
still very enjoyable. We first went to Venice, and to get anywere you had to travel by boat because
there were no cars on Venice. Everywhere you went in Venice there were a variety of vendors and an
exceeding amount of pigeons. Through the cobblestone streets, you would find hidden shops and restuarnts.
We went to this restuarant that you would never come accross without a map, and there I had the best
pasta with clam sauce that I had ever had. After Venice, we drove to Umbria. Around the rolling hills, and tiny
roads that made you feel like you were going to fall of the edge of the cliff. Each day, we would go to
little towns, see the many cathedrials which at the time, seemed all the same. But with each new town we went
to, we got to taste test the gelato to see which town had the best. Throughout the trip I ate wonderful food,
which consisted mostly of Pasta and Pizza, as well as amazing gelato. But, there was more to the trip
then the food, each town and street was filled with culture that you wouldn't even think you would find.
Paris
Bonjour! I was always obsessed with the idea of Paris, the Eiffle Tower, the bakeries filled with macarons and other tiny delicacies
and the countless amounts of sandwhices. Paris is filled with cobblestone streets, stores, restaurants, bakeries, cafes and more.
I will never forget when we were driving into the city, and I saw the Eiffle Tower,
which throughout the rest of the trip, I called it My Little Big Friend. I was so eager to go, that we
went the day we landed and it was slightly cold and rainy. But, that didn't ruin the moment. Throughout the rest of the trip,
we walked the cobblestone streets, ate sandwhiches and macarons, saw the sites and watched the Eiffle Tower lite up
at night. But, their is more to Pairs then all the touristy spots, just even walking around you see things that you may
not have come accross if you were rushing around. Paris was not exactly what I thought it would be, but it was
far from a dissapointment. Au Revoir!
