Although Rhode Island is a small state, and you can practically drive all throughout the state
in the span of one day, there are many great restuarants, cafes and other places to get all sorts of
food. Listed down below with some description, are a few of my favorite places to eat in Providence and
places I know many other people enjoy!
Places to Eat!
Denden
Dended Cafe' Asiana is located on 161 Benefit St, PVD, RI. At Denden you
can enjoy hearty Korean disges such as hot-stone bibimbap, seafood pancakes, short rib BBQ, fried noodle
rolls and many more. They also provide Japanese Soba, Rice bowls, and deep fried 'Katsu' specialties. Many
people say that Denden has a welcoming vibe, and a livley city like scenary. When I go to Denden I always order
the same thing, but I know other people who love a variety of the things on the menu, such as the bento boxes,
and the bibimap. I order Edamame and the fried noddle rolls as appetizers, these two appetizers are great
to share! As my entre I get the Chicken Katsu, which is a deep fried chicken cutlet, that comes with salad,
a bowl of miso soup and a bowl of white rice. Denden is a great place to go with your family, it is kid friendly
and the food is excellent!
Al Forno
Al Forno's is located on 577 S Water St, PVD, RI. Al Forno is an Italian restuarant
with great food and the ombiance adds to the experience. Al Forno is known for their Grilled Pizzas, Clams
Al Forno, amazing pasta dishes, and made-to-order desserts such as Hand-Churned Ice Cream, Fresh Fruit Tarts,
and the Grand Cookie Finale. At my most recent visit to Al Forno, I shared the Pizza Margherita with my dad,
and for my entre I had the pasta bolognese. As a dessert I normally have the flourless double chocolate cake,
but as strawberries were in season they had a new edition to the dessert menu, Strawberry Shortcake with fresh
wipped cream and fresh strawberries. It was the best strawberry shortcake I have ever had, the wipped cream wasn't
too sweat, but the strawberries gave the sweetness and the shortcake has slightly hard on the outside, but soft and
crumbly on in the outside. Al Forno's is my favorite restuarant in Providence, and the food consistantly meets your
expectations!
Flatbreads
Flatbread Company is located on 161 Cushing St, PVD, RI (off of Thayer St).
Flatbreads is a livley restuarant that is great for the family. Their pizzas are excellent, I usually get
the no boundaries salad where you can add to their organic salad. I add goat cheese, carrots, and corn but it is
the salad dressing that makes the salad great, they use their homemade ginger-tamari vinaigrette. Along with
their tasty sald comes their wood fired pizza, and there are a variety to choose from and ones you can add toppings to.
My favorite pizza is the Jay's heart, which is their wood-fired cauldron tomato sauce, premium whole milk mozzarella and
parmesan cheese baked on organic bread dough with garlic oil and our blend of organic herbs. Flatbreads is a great place to go
with any size party, and it is completley kid friendly!
Seven Stars
Seven Stars has a few locations throughout Rhode Island. I usually go to the one located
on 820 Hope st, PVD, RI. Seven Stars is a buzzing nakery featuring from-scratch breads and pastries plus sandwhiches
and carefully sourced coffee. My family and I go very often for their variety of breads, tasty sandwhiches which are
great for lunch, and their variety of pastries that are great for breakfast, snack or bringing a dessert to a party!
My favorite things at Seven stars include their arnold palmers, the ham and cheese sandwhich or their roasted turkey
sandwhich, and their croissants, cookies, muffins and other pastries are delicous. This lively bakery is a great place
to go and work, or go with your friends and family!
Three Sisters
Three Sisters is located on 1074 Hope st, PVD, RI. Three Sisters has a friendly atmosphere, that is great
for kids and there is a park across the street. You can order breakfast food, or lunch/dinner food. But,
what they are most known for is their amazing homemade ice cream and their variety of flavors.
Their flavors include: kulfi, dutch chocolate, strawberry, vanilla. black raspberry, purple cow, green tea,
dirty garden mint, and many many more! My favorite flavor is Dirty Garden Mint, which tastes as if you are eating
real mint, and there are chocolate chips in it! Along with delicous ice cream, there are amazing cones to go with it!
They have the typical cones, wafer and sugar, but they also have homemade waffle cones! Three Sisters is a one of a kind place,
and they have some of the best ice cream I have ever had!

From when they open till when they close they are serving warm welcomes and warm bagels. Their menu includes: plain, poppy,
everything, sesame, onion, pretzel, pumoernickel, cinnamon raisin and their specials! Along with a tasty bagel, they have a
variety of spreads, additions and even ways to make your bagel into a sandwhich! While you wait for your bagel you can enjoy
a drink and a pastry! Rebelle is open from about 6:30 till they run out and they run out quick! So don't delay your bagel run
