Notes: Subtitled 50 specific ways to improve your programs and designs. This is an excellent book, and I recommend that anyone programming in C++ at any level read it. The style is relaxed and easy to read. This book is quite old now, and there are a few things missing, but it is still very much worth reading.

Each item is examined in a fair amount of detail, and I think most people will learn something from reading it, regardless of what level they start with.
