Research Interest

Primarily interested in research leading to the development of advanced Database and Information Systems (such as web,

e-commerce, active, agent-based, multi-media, and real-time}) for supporting emerging applications. Specifically interested in knowledge discovery, data warehouses, efficient storage and retrieval of disparate data types, efficient processing of large number of rules, queries, workflow, process modeling, and the use of parallel processing techniques. More recently I have been pursuing Just-In-Time (JIT) delivery of information whether it is from a web or any other source to devices that are nomadic.
