Reading Review for Class 17

Your review should include both a summary of these papers, which discusses

Finally, for this week’s papers, please reflect on the following question:

Consider pFabric, an optional reading from earlier this semester. pFabric requires a special scheduling algoritm in switches: the switch must dequeue the earliest packet to arrive from the flow with the highest priority (i.e. the flow with the lowest remaining number of bytes to transmit). How would you implement this scheduling algorithm with PIFO (or, argue that it is not possible to implement it)?
