Want to learn:  How to discern a mutually beneficial collaboration project.  What goes into writing a grant proposal, and how best to receive funding.

Other goals for class:  Working effectively within a group.  Producing something that is SIGGRAPH-worthy.

Role you would like to play in a project and skills you bring:  Designing a visualization system from the software end.  Familiar with G3D and VRG3D, as well as VTK and SciRun.

numerical methods, signal processing, ode's, pde's, etc.):  Calculus, Linear Algebra, ODE's, PDE's, Dynamical Systems, Real & Abstract Analysis, Topology, Complex Analysis

Relevant science classes taken:  Vertebrate history

Other relevant classes or experience:  Spent time as a video game programmer, also currently working on a Sci. Vis. project with Beth Brainerd in the department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology.
