Project Title 1: Music Composition and Synthesizer Tool

Description: A tool to aid musicians in composing computer based music.

Local Users: Anyone who is interested in composing music

Score (1-10)
        Useful to others: 6

        Can be scaled up to PC product: 10
        Divisible: 9
        In C++ on Suns: 10

        Overall: 45

Pros: There are limitless ways that the program could be extended.  It would be a
      great tool for any music lover.  It would be fun and educational to build.

Cons: Limited Users

Project Title 2: Network Office

Description: An extenstion to the OS which enables users sharing the same workspace to
             send messages, chat, share documents, share calenders, schedule appoitments,
             share email addresses, etc.

Local Users: anyone

Score (1-10)
        Useful to others: 10
        Has specific users: 10
        Can be scaled up to PC product: 10
        Divisible: 10
        In C++ on Suns: 10

        Overall: 50

Pros: Would be a great tool for almost any worker in an office.  Is really easy to divide.
      Could be tested while building it since it would be a great tool for a team of programmers!!!
      Very extensible.

Cons: Doesn't sound like a lot of fun to write.

Project Title 3: Email Wars!

Description: A game where you are the email trying to get from server to server.  You
             will battle enemies such as spam, low bandwith, disabled servers, pings,
             and fragmented packets.

Local Users: Anyone who loves games

Score (1-10)
        Useful to others: 0
        Has specific users: 10
        Can be scaled up to PC product: 10
        Divisible: 10
        In C++ on Suns: 10

        Overall: 40

Pros:  Sounds like a really fun project that would still utilize the skills learned in
       this course.  

Cons:  Its not a very useful project.
