Want to learn: How to build a large project; how to work as part of a team.

Other goals for class: To participate in the development of a fun and useful project.

I was also wondering if it would be possible and/or appropriate to build a larger-scale 3D game as part of the course.

Role: I enjoy the implementation of a program  as well as its design; I also like debugging interesting problems. Further, I enjoy the process of bringing people together to work on a project-- especially when it works!

Relevant CS classes:

CS196-2, CS9-4, and CS18 are the closest I've taken to design courses.

Other relevant classes / experience:

I've taken way too many CS classes for my own good; I also enjoy learning on my own-- even if that means reading plenty of technical literature and missing out on more than a few opportunities to watch TV or, say, gooutside  :-) 

I also have a number of other non-CS hobbies that might come in handy during the research and specification of the project.
