Project Title 1: Facility Finder

Brief Description: It's on the website.

Identify Local Users: Not just facility management, but, more significantly, Brown faculty and students who space needs or require facility information.

Assign a 1-5 score for these criteria
	Useful to others: 4
	Has specific users: 5
	Can be scaled up to PC product: 2
	Divisible: 4
	In C++ in Sunlab (Linux): 3

	Overall: 4

Pros: A project that has both very specific users and broader appeal within a community that is the most likely to know of its existence. Combines different programming elements.

Cons: While the broader concept can be extended, the request is fairly specific to brown.  The request needs to be web-based and C++ is not necessarily the best choice.

Identify Local Users: Locally, probably mostly professors in science and engineering fields and their public and private partners.

	In C++ in Sunlab (Linux): 4

	Overall: 4.5

Pros: A unique and potentially extremely useful project. The broader uses are potentially huge.

Cons:The description is fairly vague. Designing requirements is going to be tough and will likely cause disagreement.

	Overall: 4

Pros: Combines many different resources and thus skills. Uses a hot software API. The Concept is broadly applicable.

Cons: The implementation for this group will have to be fairly limited in scope.
