Calculating a sequence of commands

The MarkCalc is capable of doing multiple operations in sequence. Let's say you write out a ten-row computation in the MarkCalc. You don't want to have to hit Do It on every line over and over again. Instead, you can click in the area to the left of the Name box of the first row, and then press Start. This will run all the rows in the calculator one after another. You can adjust the rate at which the rows are executed by modifying the position of the slider at the top-left of the MarkCalc window.

Watch the pointer on the left of the rows; it indicates the next command to be executed. To change the position of the pointer, you can click the mouse in the area to the left of the row you want it to point to. To put the pointer at the beginning of the sequence of rows, you can push the "Reset" button on the calculator keypad.

As mentioned in Subsection 3.1.2, if you want to execute all the rows again and again, you should make sure that the "Once/Many" button displays "Many". If instead it displays "Once", push it and it will change.
