On Saturday I played a wedding gig up in Belgrade Lakes with Y. and E. My fingers mostly cooperated, though I apologized afterwards for my flubs. Y. told me not to apologize, but just to think of the gig as friends helping me "get back in the game".
It's moments like that when I stop and count my blessings that I have such amazing friends. Now I'm knocking on wood. And working on a Bach Partita to help erase the finger flubs I experienced on Saturday. Yay!
