The cutout rectangles for each of the Four Noble Truths are ugly and unnecessary. The truths could have been left implicit or embroidered directly on the circles

The bodhi leaves look like hearts. They should have had embroidered leaf tip extenders and a filigree of leaf veins as a web over the embroidery. Also there should have been a leaf stem

The seated Buddha side sagged because there was, intentionally, no quilting in the open spaces. I don't want to use glue, for archival reasons, but need to find a way to handle such open spaces. Also, I didn't want stitches to go through to the other side. Still, I think that had I in-the-ditch stitched the circles on the other side I might have incorporated that into the design of the Buddha side.

The gold against gold outline stitching is intentional - I wanted people to look closely and consciously read what was there on the Four Noble Truths side, and to look closely at the Buddha on the Buddha side.
