Radu Jianu

I am currently completing a PhD program in Computer Science at Brown University, RI, USA. I finished my undergraduate studies at the Polytechnic University in Timisoara, Romania, in 2005 and received my Masters degree from Brown in 2007.

My interests are in Information Visualization and Visual Analytics and I am working with professor David Laidlaw. I am part of the Scientific Visualization Lab in the Computer Science Department at Brown University.

For fun, I am part of the Brown Cycling Club and compete(d) in collegiate races. My newest passion is Argentine tango, which I have started to teach at Brown . I also like hiking, skiing and other outdoor activities.
