It has been an honor to serve on the IACR board for the last three years. There are, of course, a myriad issues that the IACR is facing moving forward. Online publishing continues to be prominent among them. Our conferences are receiving record numbers of submissions, and we need to keep encouraging excellence in research and its effective and timely dissemination. I will continue to approach these issues with care and an open mind. My priorities still are: (1) High quality research and its effective dissemination, (2) mentoring, (3) dialogue with related research communities, industry, standards and funding agencies.
