Data and Image Analysis - Geometric Model Extraction from Magnetic Resonance Volume Data

Project Overview

We have developed a computational framework for creating geometric models and images of physical objects. New algorithms developed within the framework include a goal-based technique for choosing MRI collection protocols and parameters and a family of Bayesian tissue-classification methods. This interdisciplinary work has been carried out in collaboration with the MRI team of the Human Brain Project at the Caltech Biological Imaging Center.
