GP is an object-oriented GUI package for Windows written in Turbo Pascal. It is the software package used by the book Object-Oriented Programming in Pascal: A Graphical Approach, by Conner, Niguidula, and van Dam. This book is published by Addison-Wesley. If it isn't available in your bookstore, you can order it. The ISBN number is 0-201-62883-X.
GP requires either Borland Pascal 7.0 for Windows or Borland Delphi 1.0.
GP VERSION 1.1a is now available. This version of GP will work with both Borland Pascal 7.0 and Borland Delphi 1.0. There are no other changes since version 1.1. Click here to download the software. GP is distributed as a self-extracting archive. After downloading, run the resulting executable and all the GP files will be created in the current directory . If you prefer, all GP software can be found at ftp.cs.brown.edu/pub/gp.
EXAMPLES from the book that use GP are also available. They are distributed in two forms, one for Borland Pascal users and one for Borland Delphi users. If you want to use the Borland Pascal examples, click here. If you want to use the Delphi examples, click here.
