I am Senior Software Engineer, and a member of the Department's
technical staff. I help with
planning the system infrastructure and the educational and
research environments both physical and virtual. I also pitch
in where I'm needed and am responsible in one
way or another for much of what
Mark, our systems manager isn't
responsible for. I'm also the
webmaster here in Brown CS.
Projects
I'm the author of
xmx, an X protocol multiplexor. I've also
been busy designing and managing the development of
quahog, a polite distributed processing
system.
