Recent Updates

17 Jan 2007: Fix security flaw where hand.muf would let one hand exits to people. (Thanks to Drake.) Note that the version of my hand program distributed with a FuzzBall 6 starter DB (modifications by Natasha@HLM) was not vulnerable.

13 May 2006: Fix freespoof bug with puppets in ansi-pose (both versions).

11 Sep 2003: Fixed typo in ansi-pose's FB6 version. Thanks to Kaije@SPR.

1 Aug 2003: Fixed bugs in FB6-color version of teleport and removed teleports macro dependencies.

Mar 16, 2001: Modified all install scripts to try to set the VIEWABLE flag. (If the MUCK does not support it, this should just create a harmless error message and no odd VEHICLE flag set on programs.) Also corrected bad, stupid, silly typo about the past three entries here being in 2001.

The Proggies

Most of these proggies are distrubuted as /quote-able install scripts.

• ansi-pose
  A rather simple program to allow colored poses. Allows people to not see colored poses.

• autosweep
  A program to allow players to set themselves up to be automatically sent home. Interactive setup. Designed to be installed as a global.

• charge
  A simple proggie to @lock an exit to charge a certain amount of pennies. If you want this to have more/different features you can e-mail me.

• cmd-@name
  A replacement for inserver @name, that requires wizbit or the wizprop ~/player-namer?:yes to be set for players to be renamed.

• coaster
  A program to allow simulation of rollar-coaster like rides. No ansi support. (Yet.)

• filter-contents-cats
  A look-filter for Jaffa's look proggie. This filter will categorize content lists automatically, into Players, Vehicles, Normal Things, Programs, Puppets if a $def is changed, and Rooms for a special weird case. You will of course need to do some final setup after porting this, involving setting the apprioate prop. on the cmd-look proggie. This can also be easily modified to include more categories, should you so desire. Flags: M2 for proggie, W for installation of it.

• intercom
  This is a very complete chat channel program. At the begginging are a bunch of stuff which you can change to customize colors, etc. It should be noted that this program is also setup so it can be easily be switched from FB6-color to tidle-ansi-color to no-color and all vice-versas you can get from that.

• lib-ansi
  If any muck wants to use FuzzBall 6's internal ansi color support with "old"-style lib-ansi using proggies, this library will emulate $lib/ansi for them using FuzzBall 6's support for escape charactors in strings. It also supports '-' as part of color escape codes, not chaning that attribute with them.

• list-utils
  A program that allows for list viewing, renaming, and deleting easily. Intended to be installed as a global.

• muckers-list
  A clone of the muckers or mufhelp command. This version is based on what I think is fEk's, and does not require a property to be set manually. If you want total compatibility with SPR and Furry's you can change the property used by the program to determine if someone should be listed as a helping mucker. It also has nice color support.

• mutateprop
  Changes a property from one setting to another over the entire database.

• OOCSayPose
  A program for OOC says and poses. Includes support for some Warwick's say-style saymacros.

• pchown
  A player chown command that will @chown a CHOWN_OK thing that's not chlock'd against a player and then unsets the CHOWN_OK flag.

• pinfo
  A nice, extendable player info program. Actaully contains two seperate proggies.
  Note: If you are using a version previous to 1.2 you should upgrade to fix a potential security problem. Flags: W (May work with M3)

• radio
  A very complete radio-emulator. Includes support for mutliple-channels, (named or not) locking channels, proggies that listen to channels, an M3-callable interface, spoofing, banning, encryption emulation. A few options near the beginning you may want to change.

  A nice tape-recording system. Actaully two programs...

• staff-wall
  A program to allow staff members (identified by a $def'd propname) to send @walls and to allow @walls to be poses.

• teleport
  A decent teleport program. Supports global and personal destination aliases. Also supports teleport to player. Some config. stuff at the beggining that one might want to edit.

  A program that allows players to withdraw an set amount of pennies each day. Amount can be edited. The program uses a wizprop to timestamp the last withdraw.
