Election Security Workshop (1st meeting)
Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 5:00 - 7:00 P.M.
Room 410/Library (CIT - 4th Floor)
This workshop explores issues in election security, from vulnerable computer networks to gaps in end-user knowledge. Participants will work with local campaigns and government offices over the coming election year to gain first-hand experience with the election process and identify the important problems in election security. Then, they will apply this experience to design and implement solutions to these problems. We hope to use participants' experiences and solutions to develop comprehensive recommendations for better election security practices nationwide. No prior experience required.
Hosts: Leah Rosenbloom and Anna Lysyanskaya
