Yuck. I was looking forward to more learning styles...

Ok... I want to eliminate all of the yabber that seems unimportant and confusing to the one point that the paper tried to make - use people's experiences to teach them something new. I agree with that philosophy. Using people's background gives both a head up. For example, when explaining things to people on a one-on-one basis, it is important to use examples that make sense to the individual. No, this does not mean extract their entire life story in order to answer a question about polymorphism. Rather, learn to read someone's reaction and adapt accordingly. This is a healthy skill for educators to learn.

On a separate note, this article was rather goobly-gook in terms of format and point. Yech. Just a personal commenting...
