As advances in technology allow for the collection and storage of vast amounts of data, the task of efficiently analyzing the data and assessing the significance of the discoveries has become a major challenge in algorithms design. This graduate course/seminar deals with algorithmic tools and techniques for the organization, manipulation and processing of large amounts of data. This course focuses on mathematically well founded algorithmic and statistical techniques.
