A revised office hour schedule for the remainder of the semester has now been posted. A final exam review session will be held during the normal lecture time on Tuesday, December 8.

Prof. Sudderth's office hours for Monday, November 23 have been rescheduled to 1:30-3:00pm.

The final exam will be held on Wednesday, December 16 from 2:00-5:00pm in MacMillan Hall, room 115.
October 29
Prof. Sudderth's office hours for Monday, November 2 have been cancelled.
October 23
On Monday, October 26, Prof. Sudderth will only hold office hours between 5-6pm, due to a 4pm departmental seminar.

On Wednesday, October 21, the normal office hours for Evan Donahue and Max Barrows have been cancelled. Prof. Sudderth will hold extra office hours from 4:30-6:00pm in CIT 509.

An updated version of homework 4 has been posted, which changes the way in which the radial basis function bandwidth is specified in problem 1(e). Please use this updated definition in your solutions.

A midterm review session will be held at Deqing Sun's normal office hour time: Tuesday Oct. 20, 8:00pm, CIT 227.
October 13
The midterm will be October 22nd in class. It will be closed book and closed notes, but we will provide a sheet of useful mathematical formulas along with the exam. Undergraduate and graduate students will both take the same midterm exam.
September 24
The deadline for HW01 has been extended to tonight (9/24) at 2am. On the rest of the assignments, extensions will be given on an individual basis and will not be given after Tuesday night. If you are sick or have some other relevant excuse, contact the professors by Tuesday night (2 nights before the assignment is due).
