Ground Rules Paper Contents

A good short paper will have all of the following elements

  1. Briefly summarize the papers, including the papers' most important contributions.
  2. Evaluate the greatest strengths and weaknesses of the papers. What did you admire in the papers? What should have been done differently?
  3. Considering the area as a whole, describe a research question that the papers lead toward, but do not address. You should be able to suggest a possible class project each time you turn in a short-paper.
