We went to Blessed Sacrament Elementary School on Friday, May 1 to test our completed game with the first grade students. We were curious about whether the reading level of the game was appropriate for the students. In addition, we wondered whether they would get the sense that they were really traveling from room to room in a haunted house, and whether they would enjoy the game. We were not sure if the instructions were intuitive,or if the students would be stuck not knowing what to do. Furthermore, we wanted to gauge the difficulty of the puzzles. And logistically, we needed to see how well the game would run with the limited memory constraints imposed by their computers.
