Server Software

Much of the software that provides system-wide services operates in relative obscurity behind the scenes, usually on a server locked away in a machine room. For the sake of documentation, this page describes that software.

The departmental's database servers run postgresql v. 8.3.

Email

The departmental's email servers run Dovecot, Postfix, and SpamAssassin.
